Our Disaster Action Team volunteers have been very active. Since Friday, the Red Cross has been called to help families affected by 11 home fires in the region. These volunteers have provided comfort and emergency assistance to 16 families, totaling more than 75 people. After meeting with the families to determine their urgent needs, assistance with temporary lodging, food, and clothing is provided to the families as needed.
