My 76 yr old uncle & his son who is on daily dialysis…136 Willow Ave, Hackensack, 07601 – I cannot get in contact and I am worried about them. Is there someone that can go check on them, please? I live in Atlanta, GA…
Dear Robyn, power is still out at several places in NJ and phone access is spotty at best. If they are at a Red Cross shelter, you can search for them in our Safe and Well registry. If you don’t find them there, please keep trying their phones.

If you don’t hear from them in a few days, please feel free to email us at: information@njredcross.org
All the best!

Do you have info for an EMERGENCY MEDICAL SHELTER for a family with a special needs child that is severly handicapped and needs electricity and bed?
At this time, might be best for you to contact the local Office of Emergency Management. If you normally take care of the child at home, you’re welcome to come to any of our shelters. All the best!
Is the shelter list still up-to-date? I’m looking for an open shelter in Union City. Thanks!
